Bio:
Dave Weich is the president of Sheepscot Creative, a marketing agency based in Portland. At Powell’s Books (1998-2009), Dave directed marketing and development efforts as online traffic increased from less than 1,000 unique visitors per day to averages of more than 90,000; he created a newsletter program that distributed 2.25 million opt-in emails per month, turning Powell’s into a national brand and one of Portland’s top tourist destinations. He has interviewed more than 250 authors for publication and performance, and he's the creator and producer of Out of the Book Films, a groundbreaking series that screened in more than 70 cities around the country. His work has been featured in the New York Times and recommended by the New Yorker and "Very Short List."
